November 1, 2025Erdogan’s AK Party Foreign Affairs Chief Sırakaya Condemns Massacre in Sudan’s Al-Fashir: “We Will Continue to Stand with the People of Sudan”
Ankara — Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Deputy Chairman for Foreign Affairs Zafer Sırakaya has strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities in Al-Fashir, Sudan, describing the situation as “one of the worst massacres of our century.”
In a statement shared on social media, Sırakaya said the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) had “turned the city into a graveyard,” committing grave crimes against humanity.
“The RSF has burned entire neighborhoods, executed civilians, destroyed hospitals and markets, and is even broadcasting these atrocities in real time,” Sırakaya wrote.
Citing satellite images showing blood-soaked streets and mass graves, Sırakaya stressed that what is happening in Al-Fashir is a systematic massacre.
“The killings must stop immediately. Humanitarian corridors must be opened, and those responsible must be brought to justice,” he urged.
Sırakaya underlined that Türkiye would not remain silent in the face of such brutality.
“As President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has repeatedly emphasized, we will continue to stand firmly with the people of Sudan and make their voices heard across the world,” he said.
“This is not only our political stance — it is our duty to humanity.”
