Mogadishu, – The Somali National Army (SNA) has successfully carried out a major operation against Al-Shabaab terrorists in Ceel Cali Axmed, Middle Shabelle, inflicting heavy losses on the militant group. The offensive, part of Somalia’s ongoing counterterrorism efforts, resulted in the defeat of a significant number of Al-Shabaab fighters.

According to military sources, Somali forces are actively pursuing the remaining militants to ensure they are brought to justice. This latest operation underscores the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and securing peace for the Somali people.

“The Khawarij suffered a heavy defeat, and our brave soldiers continue to push forward to eliminate any remaining threats,” a senior military official stated.
