February 18, 2025SETA Ankara hosted Djibouti’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Ilyas Moussa Dawaleh, and Djibouti’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Aden Houssein Abdillahi, along with their delegations.
In a roundtable meeting titled “Türkiye-Djibouti Relations and Developments in the Horn of Africa,” opportunities for cooperation between the two countries were evaluated. Turkish businesspeople, including representatives from Kaizen Group Djibouti and Kazova Construction, also participated in the meeting to discuss how bilateral relations could be further strengthened in trade and investment. AK Party’s Deputy Foreign Affairs Chairman Emir Yasin Kekeç also attended the meeting.
The discussions focused on various projects to enhance economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Djibouti. Additionally, the impact of strategic developments in the Horn of Africa on Türkiye-Djibouti relations was addressed.
This meeting is recorded as an important step in deepening relations between Turkey and Djibouti, paving the way for more collaboration.
