February 12, 2025A significant agreement has been signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia to enhance cooperation in the fields of defense and defense industry. This agreement includes experience sharing and cooperation between the two countries in defense strategies, military operations, and advancements in the defense industry. The goal is to foster mutual growth and strengthen both nations’ defense capabilities.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Somalia by the country’s Defense Minister, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, who expressed the importance of this collaboration in boosting Somalia’s military readiness. Under this agreement, both countries will exchange knowledge and technical expertise, with a particular focus on the successful tactics and technologies employed by Azerbaijan during the Karabakh conflict.
