February 4, 2025Mogadishu, Somalia – Today, the Somali Minister of Defense, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, hosted a high-level delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan at the Ministry of Defense headquarters. The delegation was led by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Yalchin Rafiyev.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations, particularly in the field of defense cooperation. Discussions highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration to address shared security challenges and promote mutual interests.
Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur emphasized Somalia’s commitment to fostering strong ties with Azerbaijan, noting the potential for increased partnership in defense and security sectors.
