Mogadishu – Somalia’s Minister of Defense, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, has issued a strong call to action, urging all Somali officials to reaffirm their commitment to defeating Al-Shabaab. Speaking to Arlaadi Media Network, he emphasized that the government’s responsibility remains unfulfilled as long as the militant group continues to harm Somali citizens.

“Our responsibility will remain unfinished as long as the terror group continues to slaughter even a fraction of our people,” the minister stated, reaffirming the government’s dedication to eliminating the threat.

The call comes amid ongoing military operations against Al-Shabaab, with Somali forces intensifying efforts to restore security and stability across the country.
